Often I hear people ask themselves “am I accepted before God?”
This is the wrong question to ask. Rather the question to ask should have been “is Jesus accepted before God?”
if any of these are your question, all you need to do is to find yourself in christ Jesus. Not by just knowing that a man or a prophet or a saviour called Jesus once lived on earth. Instead, you should believe that he came to die for you, to take away your sin so that you can have life and have it more abundant so believe in him today as your lord and personal saviour.
Another kind of question often asked is “am I pleasing before God?” That also is a wrong question to ask. Rather the question to ask should be
“is Jesus pleasing before God?”
The truth is if Jesus is accepted before God then you are accepted before God. and if is Jesus pleasing before God then you are pleasing before God because we are told that we are hidden in christ Jesus. Colossians 3:3.
Whenever the father looks upon Jesus, he sees us in him for we are just as christ was on earth.
This is what I believe. This should also be your belief as a believer.
