So last week, I was told that my mum was ill.
I was told she was attacked while sitting in front of one of her shops in the main market.
So while she narrated all that happened to me on the phone, I knew all that happened to her was as a result of fear and anxiety. I knew it was a kind of competitive spirit against her neighbours in the market.
So the next day she couldn’t go to the market so I thought of stopping by at the family house to address that spirit of fear in her once and for all.
On getting to the family house that morning, I noticed she had called on her church pastor to come pray for her. So I meant them praying. When I got into the house, I gently walked into the living room and sat listening to the words of prayer of the pastor while I closed my eyes.
Just while I was busy saying amen along with my mother, I noticed I became stuck in between words.
I became confused about whether to say amen again to his prayer or to just keep quiet.
I noticed how dangerous the words of the pastor were so I opened my eyes and began to watch while he prayed all his prayer and ended it and he left.
In his prayers, he said anyone who plans evil against our mother must die. He said that God should kill the person.
Then he said every evil arrow sent to our mother goes back to the sender. And my mom just kept on saying amen.
Then he said again that anyone that wishes our mother dead let him or her die first.
Then he said again anyone that does not wish our mother well let holy Ghost fire consume them.
Now this and many more were the prayers of the pastor.
So when he left, I knew I had a lot of work to do to convince my mother that God wasn’t going to answer all those words of prayers her pastor came to pray.
I knew he had come to complicate my work there before I came.
Still, I put myself together and then I told my mother “You see all the prayer of this pastor of hers, isn’t going to be answered by God.”
When I said this, you needed to be there to see the eyes
My mother looked at me as though she would say this my evil or erring son of hers has come again.
I knew it would never be easy to just convince my mother just like that, not after all the amen she had shouted while the pastor was praying.
Then I asked if she believed God would answer those prayers.
she said yes.
Then I asked again if she wanted God to kill all her enemies.
And she said yes.
Then I decided to move close to her and then put the whole scenario in a story format for her to answer.
It was like putting a medicine in a swallow for a little babe to swallow.
Then I said to her that
“Take for instance if you have two sons where the younger son felt he is not well loved and decided to turn to a bad person and begins to plan all manners of evil for the older son to die, by sending all kinds of an evil arrow to the older son who is calm, not troublesome, as such the older son being a believer began to pray to you the father of both children with the power to answer his prayers that every evil the younger son planned against him the older son should go back to him(the younger son) so that the younger will be the one to die instead of the older son, as a father of the two sons, with power to answer the prayers of this older son of yours against the evil plan of the younger son, would you answer the prayer of the older son for your younger son to die by bouncing back the evil arrow the younger son sent to the older son?
After narrating the whole story, you need to see the look on my mother’s face.
She became quiet.
Then I said let’s say I am the older son and Daniel my younger brother is the younger son.
Then I asked her again if she would answer my prayer of back to the sender so that Daniel could die before he kills me.
At this point my mother who was shouting all the amen not long ago, and was looking at me as though I was a suspect became weak. Then she finally answered and said no.
She said she would not answer such prayers.
Then I asked her why.
She said maybe the younger son is ignorant and that what we should be doing is to pray for him to change and for God to arrest him not to send the arrow back to him so that he can die.
Then she turned and looked at me again as if about to say I am sorry my son for judging you wrongly before.
Then I hugged her and held her hand and said a word of prayer over her and told her what the problem was as I rebuked the spirit of fear in then left for work that morning.
So to every one of you praying all those kinds of prayer and to those who even went to open a kill and die and deliverance ministry on such prayer points, do you really think and believe God is the one answering such prayers?
I often hear people pray saying ” o God of vengeance arise and kill all my enemies?”
Do we really know what all those we call our enemies are?
Do we even know that they are the mission works of God towards us here on earth?
So if your enemies die, my enemies die and their enemies die too and they all go to hell, who are we here to save then?
Where do we get the idea from that Our God who has told us to love our enemies and do good to them who unevenly use us, is a God of vengeance with the mission of taking vengeance on all our enemies?
So the Bible said if you that is evil know how to give good gift to your children how much God?
So have we seen how we have in our greed painted God to look more evil in his action than we that the Bible said are evil yet will not let evil come to our children no matter how bad they are?
The truth is there are certain things that we are doing in life that instead of assisting God in the mission field of saving the souls of men, we are busy fighting God with our greedy minds unknowing to us.
So when you read this it makes me look like a heretic preacher also right?
I know you won’t answer please leave me in my mission of preaching the heretic while you the good teacher continue in your mission works of partnering with the devil to send everyone that wishes evil to you to hell.
