Christianity (the Christ like life) is the lifestyle of the believer.
As a believer, once you have receive Christ, the next thing to do is to live out that lifestyle which is the Christ life through mission work.
It why Paul writing to the philipians in the book of philipians 2:13 he told them to work out their salvation with fear and trembling.
In other words, the writer was telling the believers to live out the life of Christ they have receive with fear and trembling.
Even though knowing that the use of the word fear and trembling is not best put in the English rendition.
The writer was telling them to live with others just the same way Christ live it and as well how they would lived it with jesus christ still with them on earth.
As a believer, after recieving salvation, our next action of work is to live out that lifestyle.
We are called into the mission work to preach that same life we have receive to others towards saving others and towards discipling them in doctrinal and in salvation matters.
It is why Christianity and salvation are two different thing.
First is to be save. Then second is to do the mission work that also help others to get save. Now this is what makes us a Christian.
By following the teaching And living out the life of Christ we have received
You don’t go doing the mission work when you yourself aren’t saved yet. That will be you putting the cat before the horse.
But you can be save and chose not to do the mission work which will make people question your salvation.
Salvation come to Anyone that believe no matter their religion or place of worship.
But after you have being save, you are expected to live out the salvation you have receive that will makes other to see you as Christian.
As a save person, what is expected of you is to be a Christian by doing the work of ministry to others.
As a believer who have receive salvation, you are not expected to go into hiding without coming out to show forth that which you have received.
The prove of your salvation is your selfless service to the world and by also preaching and teaching the same message of salvation that got you save.
This is what makes us a Christian.
