The reason the people of the old testament didn't know much of the character and actions of God then was because at that time God was not yet living in any of them to truly reveal to them who he truly is.

I often tell people that grace starts and ends with love. We put grace to work in our lives when we forgive those that have wronged us. Always be ready to show love to another as this is the only call we have received to live.

God is not in the business of “turn by turn” blessings of his children.
